Can’t get enough of Juicy Couture? A boutique devoted to the popular brand of casual-glam clothing, handbags, and accessories is coming to Walnut Creek’s Broadway Plaza this summer, taking the place of Banana Republic Men.

More Broadway Plaza news: San Ramon resident Beata Keleman has opened Beata, a store carrying high-end handbags (see picture) and women’s accessories imported from Europe.
Not to be outdone by the plaza’s new collection of shops—or the planned arrival of Neiman Marcus in 2011—Nordstrom has filed for a remodel and possible expansion with the city of Walnut Creek. Its goal is to carry a larger, and perhaps more luxurious, selection of items.

Two new shops have opened on Walnut Creek’s North Main Street. Laboutique at 1372 North Main sells embroidered denim, jewelry, shoes, and evening gowns—all with a youthful flair and economy-appropriate price tags. The third Bay Area outpost of DayOne Center, a shop for new and expectant parents, will fill the space at 1403 North Main. It will sell vital equipment for babies (clothes and car seats) and for moms, including nursing bras and breast pumps. The store also offers classes on and support services for pregnancy and parenting.
